It should moisturise your hair, since it's a humectant. It may turn out that your hair hates flex seed (just like mine hates aloe vera but loves glycerine) but that's not a big chance.
Anyway! Apart from being a moisturiser it's also a natural hair gel. It's insanely sticky befofe diluting. Many Polish bloggers use flax seed gel to enhance their waves and curls when they plop and whatnot.

Recipe maybe! :) (Why do I talk so much, always? ;))

Take 1 - 2 tablespoons of flax seed (not grinded, whole seeds) and pour 1 - 2 glasses of cold watet over it. Wait till it's boiling and let it boil for 15 minutes. Stir, stir, because the seeds will want to get stuck to the pot. The water will become dense and probably brownish.

Separate the seeds from the gel when the whole thing is still hot, later it just will laugh at you ;) I use a small sieve. The basic gel is ready.

Now you can dilute it. For curls, you probably will want to keep it kind of dense. For a rinse, I use 1 tablespoon of gel for 2 glasses of water and the water then is still slimy and kind of gel-like. The flax seed gel is powerful ;) Too strong rinse leaves my hair sticky and too stiff. A perfect dilution, when you find it, will give you some stiffness that will work great for curls, and also tons of moisture. My hair can look 100% smooth after such a rinse and it's smooth like silk, which is generelly hard to obtain since it's of high porosity.

Emihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610267768720188159noreply@blogger.com
